Today, we waited with baited breath as the folks at Festival d’été de Québec announced this year’s performers. They didn’t post a photo of performer’s names like they have in the past, they made us stalk their Facebook page for 50 minutes as they released the names of each performer – one every minute.

It was click bait marketing, and we totally fell for it.

One of the biggest music festivals in North America, Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ) is celebrating their 50th anniversary – which means if you have not attended FEQ in the past, then this is the year to go!

French, English, Everyone Wins at Festival d’été de Québec

When it comes to Festival d’été de Québec, everyone wins! Whether you’re francophone or anglophone, there are plenty of acts in each language to enjoy – you don’t always need to know the words to enjoy the show, right?

If you’re anglophone, make time to watch at least one francophone performances during FEQ, we are sure you’ll find a new artist to love. There are plenty of free public stages during Festival d’été de Québec with francophone performances if you are unsure about buying a ticket to an artist you’re not familiar with – or you can always check out their music on iTunes first.
